Biological Pillar
Wall-e is concious of the fact that they are a robot. Nature vs Nurture, Wall-e was built to clean up Earth and yet they somewhat have to avoid the toxicins of the storm and the junk left behind. Wall-e is 'coded' (biologically) to clean up Earth so all the humans can come back, Eve was 'biologically' built to find life back on Earth.
Cognition Pillar
They believe Eve is defective due to the fact that they came back without the plant and that their memory is defective. Wall-e percieves Eve as a sweet robot and wants to experience a romantic relationship with them. Wall-e barely percieves danger, its as though they're not about the understand it and only percieves curiosity.
Life Span Development and Learning Pillar
Wall-e learns to avoid the storms to not blow away. Eve cycles through multiple languages to try and find the one Wall-e is programmed with. Wall-e learns to introdue themselves with their name and their language. Wall-e learns how to interact with other beings and be social.
Social and Personality Pillar
Wall-e craves the romantic/platonic connection between two beings when they watched the movie. They protray fear like a human, for a robot they're very humane, most likely a way of the creators to make the audience feel connected to the main character (Wall-e) if that main character also experiences the same feelings as we do, even if robots can't necessarily do that.
Mental and Physical Health Pillar
Humans aren't exercising in space, which negatively on their health and mental health. Wall-e charges up through solar energy, they fix up their own tires; Displaying that Wall-e has broken their tires so much that they learned to fix them themselves. The humans are all overweight and do not excercise what so ever. The humans drink their food. Humans forget how to do things for themselves, and expect all of their needs to be met without work. In the repair ward, robots are experiencing disorders or problems with their 'code' and they are trying to fix them through forms of 'therapy'.
