Insanity and You was a project based of the idea of sociopathic traits, and how many people in Mr. Wince's classes matched up with those traits. It was based off the data used from a survey that was taken by 34 people.
This survey asked a series of questions, some multiple choice and others on a scale of 1 to 5. In Sociopathic traits, some of them line up with other causes, not all causes can be tied back to Sociopathy. This being said, we'll be focusing on the questions that somewhat specifically line up with Sociopathy.
According to Psychologist, it is said that Sociopaths manipulate others to get their way, this specifically ties to the idea of them believing they are more superior then that average person.
Psychologist describe this trait as the fact of Sociopaths believing that since they're so impulsive, they don't want people to rely on them. As well as their dislike for commitment, they don't want people to rely on them.
This Sociopathic trait is based off the fact that people diagnosed with Sociopathy don't think about their actions, and have a very hard time reflecting on themselves.
Our goal (To figure out how many people in Mr, Wince's classes have sociopathic traits) was reached. Due to our privacy policy, we cannot disclose who specifically matches with the majority of sociopathic traits. But our goal was reached. This project was a very eye opening experience for me as well as my group, how some of us could match with the traits and others not.
With this information, I now know what specific characteristics match up with the traits of sociopathy. I can use this information in the future when trying to spot a sociopath.
